Legal translations

Legal translations are along the same lines as certified translations, but they do not have to be sworn and sealed by a translator authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These may be used by companies internally, for private purposes, or when an official body involved does not require a translation to be certified.

If they are translations of documents or legal texts for companies, these may be powers of attorney, public documents, articles of incorporation, sales contracts or reports.

For private individuals they may be either birth or marriage certificates, certificates of unmarried status, criminal record certificates, divorce decrees, wills or, inter alia, the deeds of sale of a property.
